Effects of baroque art that became popular with the 1740s led to formation of a new style called “Turkish baroque”. Although Turkish Baroque was inspired from the West, it did not give up its unique main lines. Presence of elegance, unique to the country, in structural art is seen; a glamorous wealth is reached in interior decoration and some curves and reliefs with golden dominance attract attention in interior decoration and crafts. The cages of this period were decorated with richer, grift and floral motifs. C and S curved and rococo decorations were used.
